When I decide to go to grad school and major in Early Childhood
Education, I did it because I love
working with children and now I
want to work for children. I am
so excited to explore areas in education outside the classroom into another form
of advocating. Therefore I have listed community
jobs that are appealing to me and their mission and vision for the community.
Cradle Cincinnati
Mission Cradle
Cincinnati Connections. Cradle Cincinnati Connections is a federal Healthy Start program with the
mission of reducing the rate of infant mortality and improving perinatal
outcomes within in four Cincinnati neighborhoods: Price Hill, North and South
Fairmont, and the Villages of Roll Hill. The core of their work involves
wrap-around services, which will be monitored to identify modifiable social and
behavioral changes. http://www.cradlecincinnati.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/March-12th-volunteer-flyer.pdf
This can
really practice is something that I’m interested in because it’s part of
reducing infant mortality. It’s an opportunity to help mothers and fathers in
their quests of obtaining a better life for their child and the resources that
are given to them, that they actually use it’s gratifying and rewarding to be a
part of a successful accomplishment in saving the child’s life.
Ohio Job and Family Services

and families by promoting economic self-sufficiency and ensuring the safety of
Ohio's most vulnerable citizens.
Ohio job and
family services provides opportunities and seeks leadership skills and a person
to recognize the procedures of a childcare center understanding the cold the
criteria and advocating for families right. I respect Ohio job and family
services because they set the bar for quality care in centers around
Cincinnati.

•Children

this is
another organization that I will be quite interested in working for because the
coaches are assigned to childcare centers to help them reach age rated*through
their performance management work.
In all of
these positions that I mentioned there are job opportunities that are
interesting to me they range around the 0 to 3 population and the skills to
have jobs like this must include experience in early childhood education
understanding early childhood development having the experience of working with
children and families and being able to relate to diverse culture.
Cradle Cincinnati is looking for a person that has that
understands the significance and the severity and mortality. Cradle Cincinnati
is looking for person that is experienced in the interim population has
compassion in passionate characteristics to want to reach out to families and
find creative ways to invite them in to learning about how to care for their
child.

Great Blog Valerie; I totally agree that children parents and families should become involved in their child’s education. The continuous participation helps benefit a child’s learning. Both the teacher and parents provide children with opportunities to experience different learning situations as well as support other children to make a difference in their academic achievement.
